This week I have been modelling a things from Jacks concept art.
The assets could be lower poly, but as were going for something pretty I have left them higher poly then i normally would - however if need be then it is possible to lower the amount of polys.
The materials are just there to get an idea. There are not the final textures.

This is a wooden crate with a metal crate on the inside. This version also comes with a top half. (so the entire model is closed) There is no bottom polys.
This is the metal crate that is open. Its 42 polys - it could have been less but as you can see the inside there needed to be the extra faces. It has been made so that you can rotate is upside down for the closed crate. I'm not sure whether to add more detail or not - as it could all be done with a texture. This can be discussed later.
This is the wooden crate at 168 polys its quite large - however it think it looks much better like this - but if need be we can just make it into a basic box and have all these details added by a texture.
The object has no bottom, so when rotated it can be an open crate.
From this I also created a wooden lid that can be placed at any angle.
There are also two different smaller versions of this crate.
This is the wicker basket (the short version there is a taller version) Its 254 polys, it still looks a little blocky, but it would get a ridiculous size if i tried to correct this.

This is meant to be a potato sack. its 74 polys. Its very difficult to model as its such a fluid object - i might have to try it in maya or have someone else do it as its to rigidity.
This is the well. (the pink bit is how tall a person is) I'll have to talk to Jack to see how he wants this, because i'm not sure - I think it needs to be thinner and the outer part to be taller. But that won't take long to fix. Also he wants a separate section in the middle which will require a ton of polys for the detail he wants - i'll make two versions.
This well definatly looks better. Its 422 polys. But i still think something is missing. So i'll ask jack.
Here are a few street lamp designs from Jacks concept. Not sure if i need to raise the polys or not.
Here are a few different wall lamp designs. I quite like the fat one. In terms of its bracket its hard to get something decorative thats low poly. The first one is a few hundred higher than the others just for a little curve, i think this should maybe be done with a texture. But i don't like the current wall brackets i think it needs to be a little rounded.
A basic shelf for the shops 13 polys.
This is the shop front - not quite sure if this is what jack wants but i think its right haha.
Trying to make ceramic items for the shop. To do this i used the Lathe tool, now why it creates really interesting organic shapes it does mess up the geometry which you have to go back and fix alot - which almost doesn't seem worth the effort. But I will see what the guys think (this image doesn't show what the models look like very well) Another problem is it makes them really high poly these few objects are nearing 2000
